Look around you — every day is woven from countless exchanges, small and large. 

As a kid, getting things was not easy. But our innocence and played the magic. Everything was within reach. A bigger slice of cake, another story at bedside, a little more nap in the morning. 

Then, as we grew up. Things got difficult. Dealing with Mom was easy, but dealing with Dad got a lot harder for most of us. We got it our way, most of the times. 

Then things changed. We were in the jungle. Where old world rules broke. Now we had to deal with others. Some of us would fear to ask or do so hesitantly and even would give up sooner.  On the whole, we would miss opportunities. The cracks appeared, but we chose to ignore them.

Negotiation is all around. We do this every day and we can't afford to miss doing well.
